Today I tried to uninstall the previous version VS2008 express edition,and installed the VS 2008 team suite,which had much more function than the express.I unziped the seven packages,and loaded the iso file with Daemon tools.Then
doubled click the setup.exe and started the installation.
However,soon I got the error below:
By searching the Internet,I gradually knew the reason.There was a conflict between VS2008 component and office2007 component.Here was what I did to solve the problem:
enter the iso virtual disk
directory,and found the file \WCUWebDesignerCore\WebDes
it to other partition,unziped it with winrar(Do not double click it,or it would generate a temp directory,the following actions didn't work).So you would see some files including a "setup.exe" and a directory named "office.zh-cn".
Prepare your office2007.iso and load it with Daemon tools.Then copy the inside directory "office.zh-cn" to cover the same-name directory in what I mentioned above .Finally you're expected to enter that directory and double click
the "setup.exe".The process should be successful.
So this time you continue the VS2008 installation and that problem won't appear any longer.
If you want to turn the 90-days-trial edition to official edition,you can enter the control panel,and click "modify/delete",soon you'll be in the maintenance mode.Input the Key number(it's easy to get on web).If it works , and
you will get the following image:
