Job Title: Software Validation Engineer
Work Place: Shang Hai
Job Descriptions:
In this position, the candidate will be responsible for Software Platform Validation (SPV) and/or System-level test software development and integration of Intel virtual AMT into virtual solutions. The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Developing PC system based test programs and test suites
- Interacting with various work groups to define and track platform readiness
- Developing testing methodology definition for new software features and functionality
- Participating in new product debug and characterization
- Performing failure analysis, debugging hardware and software tool development
- Interfacing with Design, Q&R, process technology development groups and manufacturing factories
Qualifications:
the candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with two years of experience in component and/or board level test or product engineering. Additional qualifications include:
- Good hardware skills in PC platform
- Good knowledge of DOS, Windows* and Linux* operating systems
- Preferred Knowledge of a virtual solution architecture such as XEN*
- Proficiency in a higher-level programming language, preferably in C/C++
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in Perl and shell programming would be an added advantage
