The last weekend I went to Shanhai. I had discussed with Mike Yao about the developing of Firfox plugins.
Mike Yao was going to develop a BT download plugin for Firefox. I told him that we must design a framework
in order to add variant downloading sub-plugin. In this way, we can modify or add a plugin and
not affect other plugins.
Mike Yao was going to develop a BT download plugin for Firefox. I told him that we must design a framework
in order to add variant downloading sub-plugin. In this way, we can modify or add a plugin and
not affect other plugins.
However, Mike found some ones in the world also are developing a BT plugin. Those BT plugins all
but are aphal version. The author of a BT plugin said that there is a bottleneck. When downloading
bv using that plugin, CPU almost overburden. So, he rewrote it in C++. (Sorry, I forgot to say, you
must learn Javascript if you are going to develop a plugin for Firefox.)
We presumed the bottleneck is hard to overgo. So, we decided to develop a Http or ftp plugin.
Today a interesting idea flashed in my mind. What if I add a web sever plugin into the famous Firefox?
Perhaps, a new epoch come soon.
