Installing Ubuntu 9.04 on a ThinkPad T60

A：配置源
现在找到〖System〗---〖Administration〗---〖Software Sources〗，单击〖Download from〗右侧的列表框，选择〖Other...〗进入对话框。选择〖http://ubuntu.cn99.com/ubuntu〗。然后再单击〖Close〗，会自动提示更新软件库，单击〖Reload〗。
B:配置第三方软件源
1.进入System/Administration/Software Sources，在Software Sources对话框中切换到Third-Party Software页面，点击Add。
2.在输入框中粘贴APT格式行，从源列表中找出您需要的源，复制并粘贴到输入框中，注意每次仅能复制单行APT格式行，每行完成后单击Add（添加）保存。

3. 全部完成时，点击Close，Software Sources会自动提示更新软件库，点Reload更新。
C:设置中文环境
打开〖System〗---〖Administration〗---〖language support〗---〖Install/RemoveLanguage〗，选择〖Chinese〗，把下面的选项全部选上，关闭，在Language界面上选上IME选项，关闭重启。备注:本人用的是英文界面,如果是中文界面的话,请直接选择Chinese即可.
D：Firefox Flash设置
sudo wget http://ubuntu:ubuntuftp@ftp.ubuntu.org.cn/home/dbzhang800/wiki/install_flash_player_10_linux.deb
sudo dpkg -i install_flash_player_10_linux.deb
F：安装压缩工具
sudo apt-get install unrar p7zip-rar p7zip-full cabextract
G : 中文支持
某些软件中文字体显示为方块的问题：
sudo gedit /etc/fonts/conf.d/49-sansserif.conf
找到倒数第4行的 sans-serif
替换为 文泉驿正黑，然后重启X，即可解决。

H: 安装Mplayer
1:sudo apt-get install mplayer mplayer-fonts mozilla-mplayer
2:安装 w32codecs解码器(用于播放wmv、rmvb等常见windows平台下的多媒体文件;假设你已经添加了ubuntu-cn源)。
sudo apt-get install w32codecs
3:配置中文字幕显示
mkdir ~/.mplayer
ln -sf /usr/share/fonts/truetype/arphic/uming.ttf ~/.mplayer/subfont.ttf
sudo gedit ~/.mplayer/gui.conf

如果按照上的方法不行，无论GUI窗口还是命令行播放视频字幕都是横线，就请尝试下面的方法。
对于命令行播放
～/.mplayer/config文件里加上

对于GUI窗口播放
在 MPlayer 点右键
Preferences -> Subtitle & OSD -> Encoding，选择 Simplified Chinese charset (CP936)。
Preferences -> Font， 在 Font 处输入/usr/share/fonts/truetype/arphic/uming.ttf，在 Encoding 处选择 Unicode
4:安装浏览器插件
sudo apt-get install mozilla-mplayer
重启Firefox使mozilla-mplayer插件生效
I: 安装IEs4Linux
打开一个终端,依次输入：
wget http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/downloads/ies4linux-latest.tar.gz
tar -zxvf ies4linux-latest.tar.gz
cd ies4linux-*
直接用./ies4linux无法进入，所以要使用如下命令
./ies4linux --no-gui --no-flash --locale CN
J: Trackpoint

echo -n 250 > /sys/devices/platform/i8042/serio1/serio2/sensitivity
After this reboot, or restart the hal service and Xorg.
K: 安装Audacious
sudo apt-get install audacious
安装audacious的解码器
sudo apt-get install audacious-plugins audacious-plugins-extra audacious-plugins-extra-console
L: 安装腾讯QQ
至腾讯官方网站linux版QQ下载页面, 选择下载deb包，双击即可安装。
M: Stardict
1:辞典的安装
你可以在官网找到很多的词典
下载你喜欢的词典後只需把它解压到 ~/.stardict/dic 或 /usr/share/stardict/dic
现在以安装文件名为a.tar.bz2 的词典为例：
tar -xjvf a.tar.bz2
sudo mv a /usr/share/stardict/dic
注意：
a.tar.bz2是词典文件，a 是解压出来的词典目录
重新启动stardict，新的词典就会被自动加载了。
2：安装真人发声语音包
打开新立得搜索stardict-plugin-festival，直接标记并应用
打开新立得搜索stardict-plugin-espeak，直接标记并应用
安装Wyabdcrealpeopletts
如果你的源中有该软件包，直接
sudo apt-get install wyabdcrealpeopletts
没有的话，请到http://ubuntu:ubuntuftp@ftp.ubuntu.org.cn/mirror/startdict/WyabdcRealPeopleTTS.tar.bz2下载后执行
sudo tar -xvf WyabdcRealPeopleTTS.tar.bz2 -C /usr/share
安装OtdRealPeopleTTS (空间占用很大,自己斟酌)
请到http://ubuntu:ubuntuftp@ftp.ubuntu.org.cn/mirror/startdict/WyabdcRealPeopleTTS.tar.bz2 下载后手动安装
