下面要比较的是Google，Yahoo，Bing（原Microsoft的Windows Live），Baidu。
大家比较常用的可能都是Google了，这里不是崇洋媚外，老外在计算机行业确实比我们要先进很多，搜索能力是显而易见的，尤其是在外文资料的搜索上。然而，今天无意的一个搜索，却让我发现我心中那个第一个Google只能屈居第二了。
以下用一些搜索数据来展示各大搜索引擎的能力：
