win7 cygwin下安装ns2.34

这里说明下这两篇文章都没有碰到的或者没解决的问题

就是根本就没生成ns.exe

执行时出现

/ns-allinone-2.34/tcl8.4.18/unix/tclUnixTime.c:100: error:storage size of ‘tz’ isn’t known

然后编译终止

网上对这种问题没看到什么解决方案

后来参看一个台湾高校bbs上的讨论

终于解决

 

如下

这是因为tcl8.4.18/unix/tclUnixTime.c中的tz定义问题

进入

C:\cygwin\home\ns-allinone-2.34\tcl8.4.18\unix

打开对应c文件

发现tz的类型是

struct timezone tz;

但是没有对timezone 进行定义

增加如下定义

一切ok

 

另外启动startxwin时

我机器上生成的是startxwin.exe

而不是startxwin.bat

用startxwin

和startxwin.exe均能正常进入Cygwin/X
