听说Google的网络浏览器Gbrowser已经在酝酿之用。我不知道你对这样的消息有什么感想，但是对于做标准网页设计的朋友应该是个不错的消息。
自从IE干掉网景以后，不再有敌手后更新那是一个慢呀，对网页的解析那是一个乱呀，试图对抗javascript的vbscript耽误了一批人。反正自己是老大，想怎么搞就怎么搞。结果搞的浏览器对网页的解析是否诡异。也就搞的现在web标准的推广极为被动。好在FireFox这个哥们还算争气，算是给了微软一个耳光，微软也不得不对web标准有所重视了。windows版的safari虽然也出来了，可惜这孩子现在还不太争气，光是对中文的支持就让人反感不少。
Google我是极为信任的，不得不承认人家是牛了一些。别的不说，就说一个。你搜狐输入法不是牛吗？在日文windows安装试下，连个p都放不出来，就那点眼光？就只对中国那些使用简体中文的windows用户？谷歌输入法，在日文windows下安装看看，赶紧别用微软的拼音输入法了，工作要讲究一个效率！
反正，如果Google真的出个Gbrowser，我相信就支持中文这点上应该没有问题。对web标准的支持上应该也差不到那去，用户的认可度应该也不会错。到时候Firefox、Gbrowser、IE三足鼎立。只要有任何两方对web标准大力支持和推广的话，必然会促进另外一方的改变。到时候，web标准一统的黄金时代也许真的就不远啦。
下面是让我产生认为Gbrowser在酝酿之中这种想法的两篇文章：

As a webmaster I can log this information to find out what percentage of users have your browser and version, and make appropriate changes to my sites.Some people are seeing Google in their logs. It says "Google 0.X" listed among the other browsers, not robots, not search queries, but browsers! 0.X is the version number of beta software - software in production. So if you think these logs are mistakes, recognizing the GoogleBot instead, I don't think so. GoogleBot is at least in version 2.1. Still a chance this can be wrong.Lead Engineer of Mozilla Firefox, Ben Goodger, is now working for Google. (Do you know what Google AutoLink is?)What does this all mean for me? Not so much, but I am coding browser recognition for ABS this week. The code identifies your browser and provides you with the proper code, whatever it may need to be. I have added all common browsers to the code, but it looks like I will need to add another. I also need to know the proper scripting to write in order to create bookmarks and sidebars for this possibly upcoming browser. Not to mention, I also need to make sure the CSS parses in the same way as it does in current browsers otherwise I have even more coding to do.
