今天,在网上闲逛.搜索了一些关于qmail的工具包,毕竟曾经做过相关的工作,对于这个开源一流的mail server还是比较青睐. 在sourceforge上,偶然发现,搜索结果的最上端竟然有两家qmail服务公司的广告.顿时好奇,一个开源软件,怎么会有别的公司来做服务?
就进入了两家公司的主页,看了看他们提供的服务.不看不知道,一看下一跳啊!其中一家公司叫做DRH internet,他主要提供email相关的服务,包括qmail咨询,安装,维护;其他mail server的咨询;mail hosting等等. 继续往下看,发现了他们的qmail相关服务,当我看到各种qmail安装服务的价格时,彻底惊呆了!

看了之后,就彻底疯狂了.记得我兼职的那家公司,同样出售qmail相关软件和服务,同样是防病毒,防垃圾同时提供web管理接口,安全服务.他们的产品,每次的安装费用只有1000人民币啊!
再想一下开办这样一家咨询公司的成本,最重要的就是几个精通qmail服务安装,配置,管理,维护的技术人员,再加上几位处理业务的人员,然后就是一个小的办公室,一个web服务器,几台pc机,其他的东西就不是很重要了.如果按照这个标准,那我们几个大学生在本科学习中,没人钻研一年qmail,到了毕业的时候,岂不是可以开开一家这样的公司了?因为我们不需要自己的产品,只需要手头的技术,再加上市场的宣传.这个可能吗?
真是想不明白,难道这就是国内国外市场的差别?怎么好像在国外办一家公司是如此简单的事情,好像到了中国,虽然你提供同样的服务,同样的产品,但是却永远只能挣扎在崩溃的边缘?
